MEET OUR TEAM

The Board of Trustees will serve as LACS’s oversight and policy-making body, and ultimately bears the responsibility for the charter and successful attainment of the school’s accountability plan goals. An effective working relationship between the Board and the Executive Director will be built upon the mutual understanding of the appropriate roles of the Board and the staff. The relationship between the Board and the Executive Director and staff will reflect the distinction between the “ends,” the policy decisions made by the Board of Trustees, and the “means” used by the Executive Director and staff to achieve such ends.
